British designer, Chris Campbell, creates exceptional pieces of men's jewellery which carefully balance urban and natural textures, materials and shapes. Items such as this stunning Assassin 'Wood Panel Cross' necklace showcase both Campbell's inspiration and his incredible technical capability.
The fine cut, 59cm long, 925 silver box chain gives the necklace a modern style and texture. The necklace, which is made up of 3mm long links, securely fastens with a silver spring clasp. Suspended from the chain is a 4cm by 2.5cm, 925 silver and Cueramo wood cross. The Cueramo wood is a hard, sustainable wood which has been sourced from Tierra Calient in Mexico.
The rectangular vertical bar is constructed from sterling silver and is embedded with a 2mm wide Cueramo wood panel. The shorter, 2mm deep, silver horizontal bar has a circular profile and is designed to look as though it threads through the vertical bar.
The technical ability of the Assassin brand is portrayed through the seamless inlay of the wood used to create the 'Wood Panel Cross' necklace.
