Cufflinks are a classic men's accessory. However, brands such as Assassin have modernised the traditional cufflink by using contemporary designs and alternative materials. Cufflinks such as the 'Combination Button' convey how traditional concepts can be challenged whilst still maintaining the 'cufflink' image.
The 'Combination Button' is made up from two types of natural material. Each of the heads oppose one another, one is constructed from 100-year-old Cueramo wood and the other from bone. The head sits at 1.5cm in diameter and is contrasted by the smaller bead suspended from the fixed bar. The smaller bead sits at 1cm in width and is constructed from the material which contrasts with the head (either wood or bone).
The 'Buttons' sit at the end of a curved, fixed 925 silver post which forms the link. This silver caps the wood and bone and pierces the natural material to create a small silver bead in the centre of the buttons.
The wood which constructs these cufflinks has been sustainably sourced in Mexico and both complements and contrasts the natural cream tone of the bone. The natural element of both the wood and the bone makes these cufflinks unique as all grains and textures are exclusive to each individual piece. These alternative-style cufflinks come delivered within a premium black and white cadelecb2b presentation box.
