Streamlined and contemporary European designs have influenced the British based men's jewellery designer, Annika Rutlin. Bold lines and textures are a signature theme within Rutlin's designs. The 'Leather and Bar' bracelet is a prime example of her style and creativity.
The length of the bracelet is constructed from a 16.5cm length of black, genuine leather which sits at 4mm wide. This simple and streamlined design is capped with a 925 silver bar that Rutlin has evolved to become a featured piece within the collection. This bar sits at 2.7cm long and 5mm squared.
The surface of the silver has been skillfully finished with sporadic, random looking, and varied sized, cuts giving the precious metal both a high shine and matte finish (depending on how deep and how close the cuts have been made into the silver). There is a thin indented line that runs around the bar offering a contemporary design which gives the surface an additional design feature.
This finish to the bar is mirrored on the opposite end of the leather with a 7mm by 5mm cubed cap, which is attached to a square lobster claw clasp. The beautifully crafted clasp fastens the bracelet securely onto the wrist. The total length of this bracelet sits at 21.5cm and come delivered within a premium cadelecb2b presentation box.
Quality and timelessness are the key features in which British designer, Iain Henderson, incorporates into his stunning men's jewellery range. This concept is showcased within pieces such as the 'Amalgam'...
