Annika Rutlin 'Bar' Cufflinks

PRODUCT SUMMARY

Brighton based jewellery designer, Annika Rutlin has been influenced by both UK and European design. Rutlin's 'Bar' cufflinks are a fine example of her streamlined designs that she balances with a contemporary element.

The 925 silver cufflink head sits at 2.2cm long and has a 3mm squared profile. This bar shape is one of Rutlin's timeless signature designs which has been used throughout her men's jewellery range.

The surface of the silver has been skillfully finished with sporadic, random looking and varied sized cuts, giving the precious metal both a high shine and matte finish (depending on how deep and how close the cuts have been made into the silver). Running around the bar, one third from the top, is a simple 1.5mm wide and 0.5mm deep line indentation which enhances the contemporary design of the cufflinks.

Connected to the back of the bar is a 5mm wide bracket which suspends and pivots a hinged toggle bar. This is adorned with the same surface finish as the head bar. The hinge allows the toggle to sit at a horizontal position in order to thread through a cuff. This hinge can be turned vertically to lock the cufflink in. The 'Bar' cufflinks comes presented and delivered inside a premium black and white Aaron-Kane presentation box.
